ITV to screen Moors Murder drama to mark 40th anniversary
LONDON - ITV is to screen a dramatisation about the capture of Moors murderers Ian Brady and Myra Hindley to mark the 40th anniversary of their trial next year.
The drama, called 'See No Evil: The Story of the Moors Murders' has been written by Neil McKay, no stranger to the drama-documentary genre having also written last year's BBC drama 'In Denial of Murder' about miscarriage of justice victim Stephen Downing.

Filming for the Granada drama is to start later this year in Manchester, although casting, including for the two central roles of Hindley and Brady, has yet to be announced.
McKay told the BBC that the drama would give "an unsensational account of the most notorious crimes of the last century".
He added that the families of the victims had been "encouraging" and the Manchester Evening News reports that Danny Kilbride, brother of one of Brady and Hindley's victims John Kilbride, said he had seen the script and was satisfied with its accuracy.
Winnie Johnson, mother of another victim Keith Bennett, whose body was never recovered, is quoted by the paper as saying she wants to keep the story in the public eye.
Brady is being held at Ashworth high security hospital, Merseyside, and has had no involvement in the writing or production. Hindley died in prison three years ago.
McKay's other drama-documentary work for ITV has included 'Planespotting' and 2003's 'Wall of Silence', in which James Nesbitt played Stuart Robe, whose son was beaten to death in 1997.
