EasyJet puts £50m ad task out to pitch
The low-cost airline easyJet is looking for an advertising network to handle its £50 million pan-European account.
The airline has previously relied on in-house creative, occasionally
using outside suppliers on a project basis. In the past year, it has
worked with The Bank and Sledge in the UK. Sledge created its first UK
ADVERTISEMENT
However, the easyJet brand and marketing manager, David Maliveo, has
decided the company should run consistent advertising across its main
European territories and has asked the AAR to help it find a network to
handle the task. EasyJet's media account, which is handled by OMD UK,
will not be affected by the review.
Separately, easyGroup, which includes brands such as easyHotel and
easyCruise, is looking for a media agency.
