Rias extends sponsorship with Poole Pirates speedway team
LONDON - Rias, which specialises in insurance for the over 50s, has extended its headline sponsorship with Poole Rias Pirates speedway team throughout the 2006 season.
The insurer, which has more than 700,000 customers and 1,000 employees across Bournemouth and Bristol, will see its logo remain displayed on the riders' uniforms and at the stadium.
Rias began its partnership with the Poole Rias Pirates in 2004 and saw a 44% growth in profit last year, doubling its staff levels over the last few years.

The contract extension will provide them with the first option of continuing into the 2007 season and beyond.
Andrew Marchington, managing director of Rias, said: "Our sponsorship with Poole Rias Pirates has gone from strength to strength and this extension to our partnership is further indication of our commitment to the team and the sport of speedway.
"As one of the South Coast's major employers, we are proud to be supporting such a fantastic team, and to be associated with this ever-growing popular sport."
Rias was established in 1992 and was voted Best Home Insurer in the Guardian Consumer Finance Awards last year.
