Wallpaper resurgence marked with largest issue for five years
LONDON - Lifestyle magazine Wallpaper's next issue will total more than 400 pages and will be its largest for five years, with the edition pulling in 50% more ad revenue than the same issue last year.
Publishing director Richard Johnstone said: "Things are on fire at Wallpaper right now, we are having a great year. The refined editorial direction has been a huge hit and as a result we have been trading up all year, but October has been very special."

The issue, which hits newsstands on September 8, covers a super-chic weekend bolthole just outside Paris and A-list looks from Amsterdam, as well as architecture, design and retail reports from cities across the globe.
The magazine, now published by IPC Media, is coming up for the 10th anniversary of its launch by Tyler Brule in 1996. It has tapped a global audience interested in cutting-edge interior design and lifestyle trends.
Wallpaper's last ABC showed a circulation of 107,805, unchanged on the previous year.
Brule sold the magazine to Time Inc in 1997, and it moved under IPC's control when Time bought IPC in 2001. Brule left in 2002 to focus on his publishing business Winkreative.
