Forrester buys Fletcher
US research giant Forrester Research has acquired one of the UK’s largest internet research outfits, Fletcher Research, for an undisclosed sum.
Under the terms of the deal, William Reeve and Neil Bradford, co-founders of Fletcher, will continue to oversee the company's operations along with its existing management team.
The acquisition will provide Forrester with more “on the ground” research for the European market - a market it has wanted to enter for some time - and help drive Fletcher’s European expansion.
Said Bradford: "Fletcher and Forrester share very similar cultures, research philosophies, and a focus on internet analysis best practices. Our decision to unite with Forrester brings together two like-minded organisations that have unique, yet complementary, experience, talent, and skill sets."
Founded in 1997, Fletcher Research has worked for a number of blue-chip clients including News Corp.
