MindShare adds £20m Volvo

MindShare has picked up the £20 million Volvo account, bringing all the Ford Motor Company business into one shop. MindShare also works on Ford, Jaguar and Mazda.

Earlier this month the Swedish car company handed the rest of its European business to MindShare and a switch in the UK has been expected ever since Volvo was bought by Ford in March 1999. The Volvo account was previously with New PHD.

"We have enjoyed a successful four-year relationship with New PHD and now look forward to planning future media strategies with MindShare," said Michele May, advertising manager at Volvo Car UK.
