Tonic takes glamour online for London Fashion Week

LONDON - London Fashion Week is due to take the catwalks by storm with digital agency Tonic doing some designing of its own by creating a website to support British and international talent, with features such as daily catwalk show reports.

Tonic was asked to revamp the site to make it more user-friendly and create a contemporary website that will reflect the brand values of LFW.

The new site will allow visitors to plan their Show Week by accessing show times, venue information and designer contacts. The website has also been given a large archive of pictures and biographical information on all the week's hottest designers.

An email marketing campaign, created by design agency NMI, is directing visitors to the website. The campaign also consists of invitations, printed material and an In London catalogue, listing popular places to go.

Annette Worsely-Taylor, creative director at London Fashion Week, said: "Tonic's design elegantly answered the key aspects of our brief. We wanted an online presence that was vibrant and visually engaging and reflected the edgy design of London's emerging fashion talent.

"The navigation system for the site really maximises user access to a vast volume of content on the site and makes it easy to navigate for our visitors."

London Fashion week is sponsored by the Evening Standard and takes place from September 18 to 22.
