Hovis runs £10m Aardman-animated work for Best of Both
LONDON - Hovis has turned to Aardman Productions, creators of Wallace & Gromit, to create a family of ducks to promote its Best of Both bread.
The £10m campaign, by DDB London, marks a significant shift for the brand, which has featured an animated family since 2001.
The ads, which broke this week, continue to showcase the brand's health credentials, with the female duck wanting brown bread and the male duck white.

The argument is settled by Hovis Best of Both, a white bread that claims to have the same wheatgerm goodness as brown.
Alyson Ebbrell, marketing manager at Hovis, said it aimed to cement Hovis' position as the healthiest bread brand on the market.
Hovis recently reduced the salt content across its portfolio of products by 10%.
