Gift with purchase: UIP and Pitcher chain link for cinema push

United International Pictures (UIP) is marking the release of the film Pride and Prejudice with a gift with purchase campaign that sees it link with bar chain Pitcher & Piano and women's interest website handbag.com.

The campaign, through Redskin, will see 2,000 pairs of tickets given
away to drinkers at Pitcher & Piano's 25 venues. The tickets are valid
for one of 13 preview screenings of the film to be shown ahead of its 16

September launch. They are being given away with the purchase of a glass

of wine, on a first come, first served basis.

Tristram Hillier, Pitcher & Piano marketing manager, said: "Offering
tickets for Pride and Prejudice gives our customers real added
value."

To drive footfall into the bars, UIP has also partnered with handbag.com
to offer a special BOGOF offer on wine, and a prize draw to win a luxury
spa break for four.
