The World: Tokyo - Hakuhodo partners Prior to break into Russia
Hakuhodo has formed a partnership with the Russian full-service agency Prior.
The alliance will give Hakuhodo a presence in the Russian ad market,
which has enjoyed huge growth since 2000 on the back of a strengthening
Russian economy.
The boom has convinced many companies, including numerous Japanese
ADVERTISEMENT
electronics and car manufacturers, to enter the Russian market,
increasing advertising spend in the country.
In 2004, the Russian advertising market grew by 33 per cent to $3.85 billion, with further growth of 20 per cent expected for 2005.
