Wallace & Gromit back on screens in new PG Tips spot
LONDON - As the official partner to the forthcoming feature film of Wallace & Gromit, tea brand PG Tips has collaborated with Aardman Animations on a TV ad campaign starring the plasticine duo.
The ad, which breaks on October 9, features Wallace, Gromit and the Lady Tottington character from film 'The Curse of the Were-Rabbit'.
The commercial is set in Wallace and Gromit's back garden. Wallace has invited Lady Tottington for tea. To test the temperature of his guest's tea he activates his latest invention. A pair of arms grabs him around the waist and hoists him upside down so that he is poised above Lady Tottington's tea. However, the contraption malfunctions and Wallace ends up head-first in a cream cake.
