Newsquest hires Wyvern for electrical and financial lists

LONDON – Wyvern Direct Response has been appointed by Newsquest Specialist Media to handle the databases for its financial and electrical trade magazine titles.

The financial database is just under 30,000 strong and includes UK and global subscribers to titles including Insurance Times, Strategic Risk and Portfolio International.

The Electrical database has 10,205 names in the UK and covers titles such as Components in Electronics and Independent Electrical Retailer.

According to a Wyvern spokeswoman, this is the first time the lists have been handled by a third party. The lists were previously handled by Newsquest, which did not actively market them.

The two lists are maintained by Wyvern DataCare. Key target audiences include electrical designers, manufacturers and retailers, financial firms as well as accountancy, recruitment and conference companies.
