IPC Media expands Nuts site with relaunch

IPC Media men's weekly magazine Nuts is set to relaunch its website with a new design and new features.

Nuts.co.uk will have new content, games, pictures and video clips of Nuts babes.


IPC is redesigning the website in an effort to make the site more user friendly and encourage interaction with readers through use of message boards.

A number of new sections have been introduced to the website, including a girls section, which will allow users to download photos from cover shoots and behind-the-scenes video footage.


Kevin Heery, director of digital development, said the redesign had made it easier for users to browse the site's large archive, as well as access new pictures, video games and reviews.


Meanwhile, Nuts is also introducing a new 3G service to enable readers to take part in the Assess My Breasts part of the magazine.


Owners of 3G phones will be able to view, vote and submit content from their mobile phone handsets.


The service will be promoted within the magazine, and from operator portals, to try and maximise awareness among the 18 to 25-year-old target market. A Top- 10 feature will be added in the next few weeks.
