One.Tel hands major role to start-up shop

One.Tel has moved the lion's share of its £5m communications account out of EHS Brann and into start-up agency ThreeSixty Communications.

A One.Tel spokeswoman confirmed that a review had taken place and that
another agency would be brought in. The company has used only EHS Brann
since its appointment in 2003.

EHS Brann has retained One.Tel's customer management business, which

accounts for a third of the account. The remainder, which includes brand

advertising, will go to ThreeSixty.

The One.Tel spokeswoman added that the review had been undertaken to
examine performance and cost efficiencies.

ThreeSixty Communications' team includes former EHS Brann creative
director Keith Payne and ex-One.Tel marketing manager Danielle
McCormick.

Last month it was rumoured that BSkyB was considering making a takeover
bid for One.Tel, which has been put up for sale by owner Centrica for
about £300m.

In April One.Tel launched a £3m campaign, developed by EHS Brann,
to promote its fixed-line service. The activity included direct mail and
press ads.
