OnlineDM is snapped up by Manchester-based Connectpoint

LONDON – Email marketing specialist OnlineDM has been rebranded as Connectpoint Direct after it was acquired for an undisclosed sum by Manchester-based marketing group Connectpoint.

Paul Anderson, commercial director of OnlineDM, said: "We're very excited to become part of the Connectpoint Group. They are the ideal partner to help us grow our services in the e-marketing arena."

Connectpoint direct's client list features Moneysupermarket.com and Hyatt Hotels, and its products include CMI, an email marketing tool, and DMI, an intelligent screensaver.

Connectpoint was established as an advertising agency in 1993, and added a PR division in 1995 and a digital division in 2001.

OnlineDM staff will move to Connectpoint's Manchester headquarters.
