Channel 4 takes Hollyoaks interactive with new mobile and broadband services
LONDON – Channel 4 is launching a range of 'Hollyoaks' interactive services through multi-media agency Conker including mobile, broadband and a video fanzine to keep fans up to date with the show.
Daily catch-up service 'Hollyoaks Bitesize' will be available online at the rebranded Hollyoaks site and for 2.5G or 3G mobile phone users.
Two 60-second packages will be available for each TV episode, which will cost 50p to mobile users.

In addition, Channel 4 is launching 'Hollyoaks Weekender', a new mobile-only service, offering subscribers the chance to watch 'Hollyoaks' mini-episodes on Saturday and Sunday.
The 60-second episodes will follow the Hollyoaks cast in unique story lines that operate alongside the stories in the main programme. Each clip costs 50p and can be saved onto mobiles for future viewing.
On the rebranded 'Hollyoaks' site Channel 4 will offer a video fanzine featuring the 'Hollyoaks' cast, including interviews and behind the scenes exclusives.
Sheena Peirse, mobile editor at Channel 4 New Media, said: "In the past couple of years we have launched a series of online and mobile services supporting Hollyoaks which have proved incredibly popular with viewers.
"By introducing these new services we are creating a much richer and more engaging experience for fans of the show who can now interact with the programme and its characters whenever and wherever they are."
