LONDON – MRM Worldwide has won the European patient CRM business for Aclasta, a drug developed by Swiss pharmaceuticals giant Novartis.

Aclasta is an annual infusion for the treatment of Paget's disease and is currently in Phase III clinical trials for other metabolic bone disorders such as osteoporosis.

MRM Worldwide won the account, which includes the UK, in a three-way pitch. Novartis is now considering appointing the agency to its global CRM roster.

Colin Foster, new channels manager at Novartis, said: "In pitching for the business, MRM Worldwide demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the sector combined with a proven ability to execute complex global CRM programmes. Its experience and insight will prove a valuable asset as we look to roll out Aclasta across multiple markets."
