Redevelopment of former Ministry of Defence site

The redevelopment of a former Ministry of Defence site in Devonport, Plymouth, is to be carried out by property developer Redrow Homes after its selection by regeneration agency English Partnerships. The 7.3ha South Yard Enclave site will be converted into a mixed-use neighbourhood comprising 463 homes, shops, offices and community facilities, the agency said. It expects Redrow to sign a full development agreement by mid-March.
