Pulse Train launches data processing tool

LONDON - Research software company Pulse Train has launched a PC-based tool, Data Central, to fill the gap between data collection and data analysis.

It centralises activities such as data and metadata definition and manipulation, cleaning and recoding, reformatting, weighting and exporting.

Margarita Madrid, Data Central product manager at Pulse Train, said: "Data processing professionals will be able to organise their work through a self-documenting process in which the data processing steps are literally defined as objects in a workflow, described by a flowchart."

In addition, Pulse Train's web-based analysis tool Pulsar Web has been integrated with Rosetta Studio International's Rosetta Studio, for table information exchange between the two packages using XML.
