Rula Lenska to sign cat food contract after notorious 'Celebrity Big Brother' scene

LONDON - Celebrity Big Brother star Rula Lenska has purred her way to securing a six-figure deal as the new face of a cat food brand following her infamous pet role-playing sessions with MP George Galloway in the reality TV show.

Sheba, the pet food for "sophisticats", won a bidding war according to the Sunday Mirror, beating rival cat food manufacturers for the actress's services.

The cat scene with the Respect MP has already been called the number one TV highlight of the year.

Millions tuned in to watch George become Rula's purring cat. He licked her hands and pretended to drink milk from her hands while she stroked his ears and spoke lovingly to her 'pet.'

The actress, star of 'Rock Follies' and veteran of shows including 'Doctor Who', 'EastEnders' and 'Casualty', has reportedly confirmed that she is due to sign the deal in the next few days.

But the redhead, former wife of 'Minder' star Dennis Waterman, is also on the verge of signing another advertising contract with a US hair care company, according to the newspaper.

The star admits she went on the show to raise her profile and earn some cash.

Despite being the third person evicted from the house last month her contracts could net her £250,000.
