JCDecaux wins Barcelona's street furniture business
PARIS - JCDecaux has won the 10-year contract to run Barcelona's outdoor advertising business, which covers more than 3,500 panels, following a competitive tender.
The business was won by JCDecaux's wholly owned Spanish subsidiary, El Mobiliario Urbano, which beat off competition from Clear Channel, Viacom and Cemusa. El Mobiliario Urbano was also the incumbent firm on the account having held the business since 1998.
