British Lions hunt tie-ups for 2009 South African tour
LONDON - The British & Irish Lions rugby union team is seeking a sports marketing agency to find official partners for its 2009 tour of South Africa.
The organisation has invited a number of agencies to pitch for the account next month. The winning agency will handle all the team's commercial activities.
Octagon Marketing handled the British & Irish Lions tour of New Zealand last summer. Among the 2005 official supporters were Adidas, Lion Quality Eggs, Guinness and sports nutrition company Maximuscle.
