Industry comes together for launch of RadioCentre
LONDON - The UK's commercial radio trade bodies have confirmed that they are coming together to form a new body called the RadioCentre.
The RadioCentre will be formed by a merger of the Commercial Radio Companies Association, the Radio Advertising Bureau, the Radio Advertising Clearance Centre, network programme company Hit40 and the Joint Industry Committee for Radio IT.

Douglas McArthur, the chief executive of the RAB, will take on the new role of non-executive chairman of the RadioCentre while a full-time chief executive is sought.
RAB directors Peter Cory, Michael O'Brien and Mark Barber will continue to oversee its activities.
CRCA chief executive Paul Brown will chair the RadioCentre board and will play an early role in contructing the organisation.
