COI uses DRTV to back jobs in construction

LONDON - The COI is to run an awareness campaign highlighting career opportunities in the construction industry.

Meteorite has devised a campaign for Construction Skills urging young people to "Make your mark".


The campaign is the agency's first work for the COI since it was appointed to its roster in October. It spans outdoor and online advertising, as well as DRTV activity.

An interactive animated ad, fronted by TV presenter June Sarpong, is intended to highlight the diversity of roles, gender and ethnicity of those involved in the industry. It will air from this week on Channel 4 and satellite channels.


Respondents will be sent an email directing them to a dedicated website at www.bconstructive.co.uk.
