Clear Channel's France resigns after email gaffe
LONDON - Julie France, group managing director of Clear Channel UK, has resigned after accidentally emailing details of rebates on outdoor deals to rival agencies.
France was put on leave two weeks ago. In a statement, the company said that she had now decided to quit. In the emails, details of Clear Channel's volume deals with Kinetic were sent to Posterscope and vice versa.

Her departure follows the exit of Clear Channel UK chief executive Stevie Spring in January and the arrival of Barry Sayer as interim chief executive. Sayer has now assumed the responsibilities of both Spring and France.
