RSPB hands database task to GB Group
LONDON – The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds has brought in GB Group to clean and update its database.
The wildlife charity communicates with more than 3m households each year through direct marketing.
The accuracy of its member acquisition campaigns will be improved after GB Group's work on the database. The data company will use its own National Register database to enhance records, supply new addresses for people who have moved and remove deceased and duplicate records.

Sarah Norris, direct marketing manager at the RSPB, said: "As a charity, we rely on the voluntary support of a great many individual people.
"For this very reason, it is vital that we inspire new members through our direct campaigns, which form part of an annual plan incorporating inserts, door drops, advertising, online marketing and our network of membership development officers."
GB Group also works for other major charities including the NSPCC and Marie Curie Cancer Care.
