Manchester United Soccer Schools hires Walsh Simmons
LONDON - Manchester United Soccer Schools is set to launch a direct marketing push to promote its summer residential courses for aspiring young footballers.
The campaign is set to have an online focus and include PR, web development and targeted emails to reach the schools' three key target audiences of children themselves, parents and coaches, in the UK and globally.

The campaign is being handled by Walsh Simmons and is likely to break next month. This is the second campaign this year by the agency, which is also currently involved in promotion of the schools' spring road shows.
Sarah Davies, Walsh Simmons client liaison manager, said that the campaign is likely to have a strong online emphasis as 75% of its bookings are made online. "Online is very important to the schools," she added.
David Rouse, international project coordinator at Manchester United Soccer Schools, said: "We decided to appoint Walsh Simmons because of their professionalism, attention to detail and 'bigger picture' view of the project.
"They were able to deliver us a creative, professional and ultimately successful response for our online marketing campaign."
The Manchester United Soccer Schools operate across the UK and the US.
