WDMP expands into digital market with new division

LONDON – Direct marketing agency WDMP is launching a digital division as part of the company's plans for innovative development into the digital market.

WDMP intends to develop its integrated offering off the back of recent wins from Betfair and ebookers, and to service existing clients Chelsea FC, Egg, Norwich & Peterborough Building Society and The Carphone Warehouse.

The division will be headed up by web veteran Aaron Savage, who has more than 10 years' experience in digital communications. It will offer a full digital marketing service, with a focus on harnessing the potential of cutting-edge technology, while simplifying the process.

In addition, the division will be applying core direct marketing qualities such as accountability and measurability to all digital media.

Savage said: "As the entire focus of advertising and marketing changes from a top-down model led by brands to a bottom-up model led by consumers, the elements of the interactive mix are absolutely essential to any brand's future growth."

Gavin Wheeler, joint managing director of WDMP, said: "By launching a digital division we are demonstrating our commitment to leading-edge development in this area and hope to grow our digital offering for both agency clients and standalone digital clients alike."
