JCDecaux wins street furniture contract for five municipalities in France
PARIS - French advertising giant JCDecaux has won the street furniture contact for five urban regions in the south of France and the station platform shelters of the new tramway line opened in the area, following a public tender.
The renewed and extended contract is for a period of 15 years and includes the municipalities of Clermont-Ferrand, Chamalieres, Cournon D'Auvergne, Royat and Riom.
It covers a total of 62 tramway shelters, 237 bus shelters and 87 billboards.

The win follows the renewal of the street furniture contract for Le Mans Metropole earlier this month.
Two street furniture ranges have been chosen -- the first was specifically designed for tramway shelters by architect Jacques Dulieu and the second Hydra range, created by JCDecaux, has been selected for other street furniture to be installed in the five municipalities covered by the contract.
