Clear Channel puts Coetzee in charge of Taxi Media
LONDON - Clear Channel has appointed Andre Coetzee from Ad Media to head its Taxi Media division, filling the role left vacant by the departure of Greg Forster in March.
Earlier in his career, Coetzee was a sales controller for Clear Channel's Adshel division before leaving to join washroom ad company Ad Media as sales director in February 2005.
With the group managing director role still vacant, general manager Coetzee will report to group development director Pat Chaundy. Previous group managing director Julie France resigned from the company last month after accidentally emailing details of rebates on outdoor deals to rival buying agencies.

Chaundy said: "I am delighted to welcome Andre back to Clear Channel Outdoor. Andre brings a wealth of experience to the role and is ideally placed to take Taxi Media forward as one of Clear Channel Outdoor's premier brands."
Taxi Media is the leader in the taxi advertising market with a fleet of 12,000 cabs.
