Quiet Storm hunts brilliant scripts for viral competition
LONDON - Advertising creatives are being challenged to come up with a script idea for an ad that could never get made for a chance to win a competition looking for the best viral ad.
Dubbed Projectile, the competition has been launched by Quiet Storm Films, and is open to applicants from all the creative industries.
The brief is open and challenges entrants to submit a script or an idea that would otherwise be impossible to get produced, but could be made as a viral ad to run online.

Trevor Robinson, Quiet Storm founder and creative director, said: "As a creative I have always been frustrated with missed opportunities and sometimes having your best ideas thrown away.
"This competition is a brilliant way to get those unsung strokes of genius made and out there."
Ideas and scripts should go towards a film that is no longer than 60 seconds in length. Scripts must be submitted before May 29 to projectile@quietstorm.co.uk.
Robinson will head a panel judging the scripts, and the winning film will be funded and produced by Quiet Storm for release over the internet as a viral. Richard Jobson, director and television presenter, will direct the winning script.
Last year, Quiet Storm hired the creative duo Lee and Dan who were behind the spoof Volkswagen "suicide bomber" ad.
The controversial viral, which was created without the knowledge of Volkswagen, went on to become one of the most downloaded virals of last year, with more than 2.3m downloads.
