Brit Insurance to extend Oval link
Brit Insurance has signed the biggest sponsorship deal in English club cricket, with a five-year agreement to extend its sponsorship of Surrey Cricket Club and the Brit Insurance Oval.
The multimillion-pound tie-up, which will run from the start of the 2006
season until the end of 2010, exceeds the previous deal between the two
parties, signed in January 2004 as the biggest of its kind.

The agreement allows Brit Insurance to brand all Surrey Cricket Club
cricket shirts and retain the naming rights to the south London cricket
arena.
The contract includes performance-based incentives if the club secures
promotion into the first division of the county championship.
