NEW YORK: GCI Group has snagged Kiersten Zweibaum from Ketchum.

The 15-year Ketchum vet has joined GCI Group as EVP, overseeing both the corporate and consumer practices. Zweibaum, who will report to Stephanie Marchesi, president, GCI, New York, will focus on such clients as Capgemini, Dell corporate, Remy-Martin, and Schick

“Her experience with Fortune 500 companies has touched every facet of corporate and consumer communications, so it makes perfect sense to have her head up two of our most important practices,” said Marchesi in a statement.

Zweibaum oversaw Ketchum’s New York corporate practice and worked on its global corporate practice. She handled clients Data Corporation, HSBC, Delta Air Lines, Chase Manhattan, and American Express, among others. It was not immediately known if she would be replaced.
