Dodge to sponsor Times' Baddiel and Skinner podcast
LONDON - US car manufacturer Dodge has signed up to sponsor The Times' Baddiel and Skinner World Cup podcast.
The deal, which was brokered between Times Newspapers and Avalon Management Group, means that the Dodge Caliber will be the only sponsors for David Baddiel and Frank Skinner's 10 World Cup podcasts, which launch on June 5 and will be broadcast as the presenters travel to England's World Cup matches.

The podcast sponsorship deal, which can be accessed free through The Times website, ties in with the summer UK launch of the Dodge Caliber, and extends to the Baddiel and Skinner microsite and a Times World Cup wall chart, published in The Times on June 3.
Steve Gray, marketing director for Dodge, said: "Working with Baddiel and Skinner was an ideal opportunity to launch Dodge and the new Caliber to the World Cup audience, a perfect fit for our brand."
The six-figure deal will be supported by press ads and radio and online promotional activity.
Ian Clark, advertisement director at Times Newspapers, said: "The partnership aligns three great brands in print and online.
"The podcasts will be essential listening for any football fan and there are no better commentators than Baddiel and Skinner to bring the excitement of the tournament to life for fans in the UK and around the world."
David Baddiel and Frank Skinner have become a regular fixture of ITV's World Cup coverage since releasing the anthemic 'Three Lions' England European Championship song in 1996.
The podcast is likely to steal a march on other World Cup podcasts as viewers are already being invited to sign up for the free service prior to the tournament's first match, which begins on June 9.
