Future launches Nintendo magazine
Future is launching a monthly Nintendo games magazine, NGamer, next month.
The unofficial magazine is the first UK title to focus on Nintendo’s latest games system, Wii, and the million-selling DS handheld console.
The launch comes as the publisher closes NGC, a magazine dedicated to the earlier Game Cube console. The issue currently on sale will be the last.

Future said NGamer would have “an unashamed love of all things Nintendo”, including news, previews, features and a dedicated retro section and a guide to the hottest import games from the US and Japan.
Each issue will have a monthly DVD featuring game trailers and related footage, as well as additional gifts including posters and books.
Future also publishes Official Nintendo Magazine after acquiring the licence from Emap.
Group publisher James Binns said the title had seen strong newsstand sales and more subscribers than ever before.
The first issue of NGamer goes on sale on 13 July with a cover price of £4.99.
