Review for £50m Carbon Trust business begins
LONDON - The Carbon Trust has kicked off a statutory review of its £50m advertising, media, DM and digital account.
The pitch will cover all areas of marketing and communications, including media planning, media buying, advertising, direct marketing, online, digital, event and PR for the next four years.
Interpublic Group's McCann Erickson currently handles the advertising for the government body, and the agency launched a £3m campaign to raise awareness last month.

Media planning and buying is held by Universal McCann, while Omnicom-owned Tequila/London and Tullo Marshall Warren are on Carbon Trust's direct marketing roster.
It is understood that all roster agencies will tender for the business.
Peter Hambly, director of marketing and communications at the Carbon Trust, said: "We have been very successful in establishing the Carbon Trust as a key player in the drive to a low carbon economy - a leading and necessary business opportunity to combat the growing threat of climate change.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for marketing and communications agencies to work with us on the greatest environmental challenge the UK, and the world, faces in the years ahead."
The Carbon Trust, which works with UK business and the public sector to cut carbon emissions and develop commercial low carbon technologies, has annual funding in excess of £105m in grants from the government.
