Juliet Cotterell, BBC World Service customer marketing services manager, said: "The Middle East and North Africa are an important market for us and we are anxious to reach and engage with as many people as possible, especially young people. Research shows that online is a natural way to reach this audience."
Caroline Worboys, Broadsystem chief executive officer, added: "It's great to be working with the BBC on this. It is an exciting opportunity, working in a new market and gaining insight into the different regions."
The email newsletter will complement the BBC's other Arabic-language channels, including BBC Radio Arabic and www.bbcarabic.com.
