Terminator 2: Dubble agents make a choc drop at Habbo
When you create a virtual world, sooner or later a number of life's little realities will creep in, but virtual protests to get virtual products stocked in a virtual store? That's a new one.
The real people behind online community Habbo Hotel were surprised to
stumble across a virtual demo in the hotel in May.
The activists - Dubble Agents - who were foot soldiers for Fairtrade,

choc!'.
The agents also sent hundreds of emails asking Habbo to help cocoa
farmers in Africa get a fairer deal.
Impressed, Habbo Hotel now 'stocks' Fairtrade in its cafes and
restaurants - seen as a great success by the activists.
Dubble Agent Ben Yeo said: "Admittedly, these are virtual cafes stocking
virtual products, but we hope it will encourage young people to choose
real Fairtrade products in the shops and bring real benefits to cocoa
farmers in developing countries
"This is the latest campaign from Dubble Agents who are completing
missions to change the world chunk by chunk!"
