TNS unveils pan-European online tourism panel
LONDON - TNS has launched a pan-European online panel to gauge opinions of thousands of travellers' holiday habits.
TNS said its Travellers' Panel would allow access to 500,000 respondents across the UK, Italy, France, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands, providing businesses in the travel and tourism sector with a "critical insight" into correctly identifying their target markets.

The panel works by recognising sub-segments from a range of markets, including frequent long-haul and business travellers, before providing clients with a representative sample of respondents who can then be matched against a specific demographic profile.
Tom Costley, head of TNS Travel & Tourism, said: "The new panel gives us the opportunity to research specific groups of travellers and gain greater insight into their travel needs, likes and dislikes.
"It will prove an invaluable and very cost effective tool to help travel, tourism, hotel and leisure operators gain a detailed understanding of different market sectors."
The TNS Travellers' Panel is the fifth time the company has launched a sub-panel, following the creation of its Sports, Creative Minds, Telecoms, and Health panels last year.
