Hula Hoops unveils limited-edition pirate variants
LONDON - KP, manufacturer of Hula Hoops, is to launch two limited-edition flavours of the snack to tie in with its pirate-themed multi-pack instant win promotion.
The campaign, which was devised by multi-channel marketing agency Catalyst, will feature two new flavours of Hula Hoops, Smugglers Smokey Bacon and Caribbean Prawn Cocktail, that will be available in stores from next month.

Catalyst designed and developed the Hula Hoops packaging design, flavour descriptors and on-pack promotion that offers the chance to win £5,000 in gold.
Sam Jordan, business director at Catalyst, said: "Pirates fascinate young and old alike, so there is enormous appeal in associating Hula Hoops with the colourful adventurers of the high seas and their quest to find hidden treasure."
The pirate-themed promotion follows on from Hula Hoop's Wild West limited-edition range, which was also devised by Catalyst earlier in the year.
Philip Pick, Hula Hoops group brand manager, said: "Following the successful relaunch of Hula Hoops last year, we are using limited-edition ranges to keep building the brand by keeping it fresh, exciting and challenging."
