HarperCollins seeks digital agency partner
HarperCollins, the News Corporation-owned book publisher, is looking to appoint a digital agency.
The brief is understood to focus on how it can make its content
available via channels such as blogs, mobile phones and podcasting.
The process is being led by Shiona McDougall, the newly appointed group
ADVERTISEMENT
marketing director at HarperCollins. A decision is expected within the
next few weeks.
McDougall has worked as the marketing director for Virgin Wines Online
and, most recently, at Agency.com.
Harper Collins has also appointed Clive Malcher as its first digital
publisher, with responsibility for building a digital business, looking
at content acquisitions and extensions and exploring new business
models.
