MediaVest Manchester consolidates Gala Coral account
LONDON - MediaVest Manchester has been handed the media account for the Coral high street bookmakers account and the online business for the coral.co.uk, Eurobet online and Telebet business, adding an extra £5m to the agency's billings.
The move is part of a centralisation of the Gala Coral Group media planning and buying duties. The agency already handles media for Gala Coral bingo and casino business.
Earlier this month, MediaVest Manchester signed a £2m deal on behalf of Coral to sponsor Sharon Osbourne's new talk show 'Mrs Osbourne Presents' starting on August 29 on ITV1.

Kate Howe, group marketing director at Gala Coral Group, said: "We have challenged MediaVest to deliver strategic brand planning and group buying efficiencies for the Gala Coral Group, and secure our position within the market."
Dave Lucas, MediaVest managing partner, added: "The UK gaming market is in the middle of some major changes due to ongoing deregulation. There are some really exciting communications challenges ahead in the sector."
