Neo@Ogilvy appoints first UK chief executive
LONDON - Richard Wheaton has been appointed the first UK chief executive of Neo@Ogilvy, OgilvyOne's digital and direct marketing company.
A digital veteran, Wheaton joined the new-media industry in 1997, after completing an MBA and a stint in book publishing as an editor and brand marketer, responsible for the success of Jung Chang's 'Wild Swans'.

He then went on to manage Carat Interactive's digital business for five years, moving to Getty Images to become European marketing director. He has recently been working as an internet analyst, running his own consultancy business.
Nasreen Madhany, New York-based global chief executive of Neo@Ogilvy, said: "Richard's experience is very closely aligned with the vision of Neo@Ogilvy in integration with OgilvyOne to provide digital marketing solutions for clients.
"Richard's strength in building profitable businesses combined with very good management and people skills is ideally suited to Neo's early stage of development."
Wheaton will be responsible for building the company's client base, which currently includes IBM, American Express, Cisco, and Yahoo!
He said: "I'm excited to be here and be part of this next revolution, especially given the great creative, account management and client relations talents this agency possesses. Exciting times lie ahead."
