Donatella Versace to guest-edit Elle
Fashion designer Donatella Versace is to guest edit the October edition of Hachette Filipacchi's women's glossy Elle.
The 462-page October issue, promoted as a ‘special collectors' edition', marks the magazine's 21st birthday with a charity eBay auction featuring 26 one-off pieces from the world's top designers, including Dior, Armani and Prada, as well as Versace.

The auction, which will raise money for the Breast Health Institute, starts on 15 September and all items are previewed in the magazine in a Rankin photoshoot featuring Elle's first cover girl, Yasmin Le Bon.
Versace worked with the Elle team for five months, putting the issue together, and is interviewed in the magazine by actor Rupert Everett.
Elle is hosting a 21st birthday party in association with Versace next week, and Elton John and his partner David Furnish are also holding a dinner in the magazine's honour.
Elle posted an ABC of 208,802 in the January to June period, a year-on-year growth of 2.6%.
