by Joe Lepper, Brand Republic 12-Sep-06, 07:30

LONDON - The retail division of betting organisation the Tote has brought in Alterian's Marketing Suite package to improve its communication with stakeholders and personnel.

By using the suite, the Tote aims to refresh two years' worth of data and improve its financial information reporting, which are published daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly.

David Eldridge, Alterian chief executive officer, said: "We're proud that our software is helping one of the UK's premier betting organisations improve its operations."

The Tote is one of the biggest betting organisations in the UK, with more than 4,000 employees, 500 shops and operations at 59 racecourses nationwide.

This is the second piece of work Alterian has been involved with for the Tote, having previously been involved in database marketing work for its internet and telephone betting division.
