Advertising.com appoints Marzell to advertiser services role
LONDON - Advertising.com has recruited Ellen Marzell, vice-president of global business development at WPP-owned Global Sportnet, as its president of advertiser services.
Marzell will be tasked with overseeing the company's UK sales and marketing, and the expansion of its direct response and branding clients services.
She joins the company having begun her UK career at Saatchi & Saatchi as a systems analyst. She is also a former recipient of London Business School's Female Entrepreneur of the Year 1993, and has held senior level management positions at IMG subsidiary TWI for 10 years.

Mike Peralta, UK managing director at Advertising.com, said: "Ellen's strong record in media sales will ensure our clients benefit from her experience and expertise."
Marzell said: "It is an exciting time to be joining the online advertising industry, and I look forward to taking advantage of the second digital wave and driving new business revenues forward."
Advertising.com, which is owned by AOL Time Warner, provides results-based marketing advice for the advertising and publishing industries.
