Streetbroadcast in retail park victory
Outdoor contractor Streetbroadcast has bought competitor HighStreet Media for an undisclosed sum, cementing its grip on the retail park sector.
The deal gives Streetbroadcast the advertising rights to seven retail
parks - clusters of chain stores around a central car park - including
deals with Prudential and Pillar and sites in Chester, Sunderland,

Streetbroadcast now claims 100% control of retail park advertising and
41% of the overall destination marketplace, including shopping centres,
retail parks and leisure and entertainment parks, with 135 locations
across the UK.
Mungo Knott, managing director of UK Sales at Streetbroadcast, said:
"This is our second business acquisition this year, further
strengthening our range of products designed to improve any six-sheet
campaign."
