LONDON - Mobile network 3 is to offer a series of exclusive live music videos to download starting with MySpace sensation Lily Allen on October 4.

The footage for 3's "Front Room" promotion will be shot during Allen's one-off gig at the Porchester Hall in West London early next month for her forthcoming single, 'Littlest Things'. It will be a prequel to the main video release in December.

The video will be directed by Ben Unwin, who has produced music videos for the likes of Stereophonics and Faithless, and tickets to the gig will be given away to fans via the 3 mobile website.

The mobile firm said more than 16m video and audio tracks had been downloaded from its service in the last two years, and that the "Front Room" performances would give users a more intimate experience of watching live video downloads.

Lily Allen, the daughter of comedian and actor Keith Allen, shot to fame after making her music available on her MySpace page last autumn.

Later signed to EMI's Parlophone, Allen released her number one selling debut album 'Alright, Still' in July, and has since had a string of hits that have made her a popular artist on iTunes.

Graeme Oxby, marketing director at 3, said: "Mobile is a great way to reach keen music fans who want to buy and listen to music wherever they are."
