IPC Ignite! relaunches cross-platform sponsorship team
LONDON - IPC Media has increased its investment in cross-media sponsorship and promotions across its male-focused brands NME, Nuts, Loaded and Uncut.
The existing business development team at Ignite!, which has been beefed up from four to seven over six months, is to become the Ignite! sponsorship and brand solutions team. Business development director David Fisher will change his job title to sponsorship and brand solutions director.

IPC said the move defines more clearly the cross-platform service that the team already deliver for clients such as O2, which is sponsoring the upcoming NME Rock N Roll Riot Tour.
The four magazine brands all have websites and, with the exception of Uncut, have branched out into events such as Loaded's Laftas comedy awards and NME's numerous club nights and tours.
Nuts recently ran a series of karting races under a Formula Nuts banner and has also moved into mobile phone content.
IPC's cross-platform plans include the launch of an NME digital radio station.
Advertisers and agencies will go through the team to access the RSVP strategic alliance between IPC, radio group GCap Media and TV group Viacom Brand Solutions.
Sam Finlay, group advertising director of IPC Ignite!, said: "This newly defined team will more clearly be able to service clients across the breadth of the IPC Ignite! opportunity -- and beyond."
