LONDON - ITV1's 'All Star Family Fortunes' is returning to television in the autumn and the station has signed a deal with Sony PlayStation2 in which the programme will be sponsored by the 'Buzz!' videogame.

'Buzz!' is a game where players can act out their gameshow fantasies in their living rooms, being quizzed by a host on subjects such as music, films and entertainment.

'All Star Family Fortunes' is a celebrity version of the classic gameshow. Hosted by Vernon Kaye, stars lined up to appear in the next series include Chris Moyles, David Dickinson, Fearne Cotton and Melinda Messenger.

There will also be an episode where the Battersby family from 'Coronation Street' lines up against the Windsors from 'Emmerdale'. The celebrities play for a prize of £30,000, to be donated to the charity of their choice.

Phil Lynch, product manager at PlayStation2 said: "The sponsorship of 'Family Fortunes' is a great way for us to bring 'Buzz!' to a wider audience and more importantly to bring the concept of the gameshow live in your living room to life."

The deal was negotiated by Stuart Garvie at Invents, Manning Gottlieb OMD and Yan Li at ITV Sales. TBWA\London, Sony PlayStation2's retained agency, is producing the creative.
